An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
