I will stamp all over 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.

Ex two time unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
